CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary: Looking to grow your career in precision manufacturing? We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join a growing team. Responsibilities include: Machine steel parts and rail according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints Use digital calipers to ensure accuracy Comply with all safety procedures Operate overhead cranes Location: Alorton, IL Position type: Full Time, Evaluation Hire Shift: Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm or 4pm-2:30am Pay: $22/hr ($1 increase after 90 days and an additional $1 increase after 1 year) Benefits Provided by Client: PTO and Holidays, 401k w/company match, medical/dental/vision/life/disability insurance and flexible spending accounts Qualifications: Minimum 6 months machine operator experience, CNC Machine experience preferred Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision Ability to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy Ability to read and use tape measure Strong attention to detail with ability to inspect rail using measuring devices Must be quality oriented and a team player Complete understanding of safe work practices Ability to lift up to 35lbs repeatedly Comfortable standing for majority of the shift, kneel, squat and climb step multiple times Ability to hear and see parts as they are machined, looking/listening for deficiencies Ability to communicate effective both verbally and nonverbally Follow all S = (My Wanted).
