Job Title: Front Desk Coordinator

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: On-Site (Overland Park, KS 66212)

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00/hour ($37,440 - $45,750 annually) + Potential Performance Bonus

The Care Navigator plays a pivotal role in creating a positive, welcoming environment for our members and their families. Functioning as the primary face of the front desk at our Overland Park clinic, you will serve as a guide for members from the moment they step into the clinic until they leave. The ideal candidate brings a high level of customer service orientation, a heart for senior care, and a drive to go the extra mile to ensure every member feels safe, comfortable, and well-supported.

• Member Greeting & Check-In: Welcome members and their families with warmth and professionalism, guiding them through a seamless check-in process and helping them feel at home.

• Administrative & Kiosk Assistance: Help members fill out electronic registration forms and navigate check-in kiosks as needed.

• Scheduling & Referrals: Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage referrals for a multi-disciplinary care team.

• Records Management: Update member profiles, request medical records from outside providers, and upload documentation accurately into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

• Communication & Inquiries: Manage the central phone line, answer incoming calls, take detailed notes, and direct messages to the appropriate care team members. Field questions from prospective members, current patients, and adult family members.

• Community Engagement: Assist with hosting and facilitating center events and community activities.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Exceptional customer service skills with a warm, empathetic, and professional demeanor.

• High attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and excellent multi-tasking skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Working knowledge of medical terminology, health insurance concepts, or EMR platforms.

• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and basic navigation of administrative systems.

• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations (patients, families, clinicians, vendors, and insurance reps) in a dynamic clinic setting.

Preferred:

• Minimum of 1 year of administrative or front desk experience in a healthcare or clinical environment.

• Hands-on experience working with the senior/geriatric patient population.

• Direct experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW) or a similar EMR system.

• Associate degree or higher.

• Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages common to the local community) are a plus.

• Predictable Schedule: Fixed daytime hours (Mon-Fri, 8-5) with no night shifts or weekend work.
