Business Litigation Counsel
Direct Counsel is representing a reputable law firm seeking a Business Litigation Counsel to join its Cleveland, OH office. This is a non-partner track position with a reduced billable hour requirement and no expectation of business development or firm management. The role offers the opportunity to handle complex business disputes in a fast-paced and collaborative litigation environment.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience handling complex business litigation matters
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure and significant courtroom
experience - Experience taking and defending depositions and managing litigation cases
- Preferred experience with consumer loan litigation, including contracts, loan agreements, wrongful foreclosure, and mortgage-related disputes
- Licensed and in good standing with the Ohio Bar
- Excellent academic credentials and superior written and oral advocacy skills
Compensation:
$235,000 – $290,000 per year, depending on experience This Counsel position offers a reduced billable requirement and provides an excellent opportunity for experienced litigators seeking high-level work with
greater work-life balance outside of the traditional partner-track structure.
