Position Summary
Amundsen Davis is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Cleveland office. The ideal candidate is licensed to practice law in Ohio and has at least five years of experience in civil litigation. A background in transportation law, insurance defense, and/or workers compensation is preferred. The role requires strong communication skills, solid analytical and writing abilities, and the ability to work well on a team.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in all aspects of litigation.

Draft pleadings and respond to written discovery.

Conduct depositions and maintain client communications.

Prepare case evaluations on liability, damages, and recommended courses of action.

Maintain a self‑motivated, well‑organized, detail‑oriented work approach.

Qualifications

Admitted to practice in Ohio.

Minimum five years of civil litigation experience.

Experience in transportation law, insurance defense, and/or workers compensation is preferred.

Proficient in drafting pleadings, discovery, deposition, client communication, and case evaluations.

Strong communication, analytical and writing skills.

Team‑oriented, self‑motivated, well‑organized, and detail‑oriented.
