Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold an active South Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Experience working with children or youth in an educational or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Capable of managing a multi-site itinerant caseload for K-12 students
• Familiarity with developing and executing treatment plans tailored to individual education programs (IEPs)
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students, promoting access to educational opportunities
• Assess, evaluate, and document student progress in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
• Travel between multiple school sites, providing onsite therapy support (no virtual component)
• Keep accurate records and contribute to IEP development for each student
• Stay current with best practices in school-based physical therapy
