WE’RE HIRING: RESTAURANT LEADERSHIP TEAM

General Managers | Assistant General Managers | Floor Managers

\n

Barcocina and The River Kitchen & Bar are growing our management teams across three Chicago locations .

\n

We are two different concepts, but we are looking for the same type of leaders:

\n

Outgoing. Sales-driven. Hard-working. Self-starters.

\n

We want managers who understand that great restaurant leadership is about more than opening the doors, running a shift, and closing at night.

\n

We are looking for people who want to grow the business.

\n

That means:

\n

• Building relationships with guests and turning them into regulars

\n

• Actively driving sales instead of waiting for business to walk through the door

\n

• Booking birthday parties, corporate events, happy hours and large groups

\n

• Networking within the neighborhood and local business community

\n

• Working closely with our sales and events team

\n

• Creating energy on the floor and setting the tone for the staff

\n

• Recruiting, training and developing a strong team

\n

• Maintaining high standards for service, cleanliness and appearance

\n

• Looking for opportunities and solving problems without constantly being told what to do

\n

• Being willing to work hard alongside the team when the restaurant gets busy

\n

We want competitive people who take ownership.

\n

If sales are down, we want someone asking, “What can I do to change that?”

\n

If Tuesday or Wednesday is slow, we want someone thinking about what event, promotion, party or relationship can make next Tuesday or Wednesday better.

\n

If a guest is celebrating something, we want a manager who sees an opportunity to build a relationship and potentially book their next event.

\n

Barcocina and The River Kitchen & Bar have different personalities and guest experiences, so we are looking for leaders who can understand the concept they are running while bringing the same work ethic, hospitality and sales mentality to either brand.

\n

Restaurant management experience is preferred, but attitude, personality, work ethic and the ability to drive business matter just as much to us.

\n
