Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical – Texas

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Maximum 6:1 patient ratio; rotating weekends as needed

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical unit with 8–12 inpatient beds plus 8 admission unit beds depending on census
• Acute care environment with maximum patient ratio of 6:1
• Meditech EMR system for documentation and care coordination
• Opportunity to float to other med/surg units within the facility
• Collaborative team environment with charge nurse support on every shift
• Standard nursing equipment and typical med/surg patient population

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year acute medical-surgical experience within the last year
• Ability to independently manage 4–6 patients simultaneously
• Proficiency in standard nursing skills including IV insertion, urinary catheter placement and maintenance, central line care, medication administration, and EHR documentation
• Preferred: 2+ years acute med/surg experience; orthopedic or neuro-surgery background; med/surg/telemetry experience
