Lead CT Technologist

Role Overview: The CT Technologist performs a variety of advanced imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, quality diagnostics, and departmental efficiency. They set up equipment, position patients, and execute protocols such as TAVR, Cardiac CTA, and lung/heart screenings independently. They provide compassionate patient care, verify orders, administer contrast media safely, and monitor patient conditions, responding to emergencies when needed. Leadership & Collaboration: They oversee departmental workflow in absence of the chief tech, manage staff performance, participate in quality improvement, assist with hiring and training, and serve as a liaison between departments. They support regulatory compliance and departmental initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years clinical patient care experience, with 1 year in CT. Must demonstrate excellent communication, independent functioning, customer service, attention to detail, and proficiency in advanced protocols, radiation safety, and equipment maintenance. Key Duties: Verify orders, prepare patients, perform technical procedures, maintain image quality, manage equipment, document accurately, and support departmental operations.
