We celebrate our associates.Provides documentation support to funeral homes and crematories validating accuracy and consistency on service documents in a polite, professional manner with a goal to meet and exceed customer expectations.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDocumentation SupportUses adept knowledge of state specific laws and Company standard operating policies and procedures for services requestedValidates that documents from the funeral home to support requested service complies with state law and Company policies and procedures (a copy of the final paperwork is then kept on file at the crematory, funeral home and in Carepoint)Interprets and evaluates documentation to verify information on all services is completed accordingly with accuracy and consistencyDemonstrates quick response to document inquiries and directs customers with clear instructions to correct documentation as neededMaintains professional and cooperative relationships with all customer locationsMINIMUM RequirementsEducationHigh School or GED equivalentExperienceOne (1) year experience required in an fast-paced professional office clerical and customer-focused service capacityKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesWorking knowledge of office equipment including computers, copiers, and printers at a level consistent with experience.MS Office Suite experience is highly desirableGood oral and written communication skills with management, customers and peersAbility to remain professional, rational and kind in high stress, high demand, and sometimes contentious situationsWork independently without direct supervisionStrong organizational skillsBasic mathematic skillsHigh level of compassion and integrityProblem solving skillsStrong skills in time management and prioritizing workloadDetail orientedAbility to maintain confidentialityWork ConditionsWork EnvironmentWork indoors during all seasons and weather conditionsStandard business dress is requiredModerate odors, dust or fumes may cause discomfort and / or irritation to eyes or respiratory passagesWork PosturesSitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 7 hours per dayMay require climbing stairs to access office buildingPhysical DemandsPhysical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usageWork HoursWorking a number of weekend hours each monthPostal Code: 48386-4350Category (Portal Searching): Human ResourcesJob Location: US-MI - White Lake #J-18808-Ljbffr Service Corporation International
