Call for Salary Rate - Job Summary: Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical setting, ensuring adherence to standards of practice and protocols. Assesses patient needs, implements care plans, and collaborates with healthcare teams to promote optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Assess and reassess patients’ conditions, developing and updating individualized care plans. Administer medications, intravenous therapy, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols. Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret data, and initiate appropriate interventions. Educate patients and families about procedures, care plans, and discharge processes. Document all clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely. Supervise and delegate nursing tasks to team members, ensuring quality and safety. Qualifications: Current licensed RN in the state with a valid MA RN license. Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred. Experience in telemetry and pediatrics desirable. BLS certification required; ACLS certification obtained within 60 days of hire.
