Title: Mission Critical Project Manager – Life Safety & Security Systems (Division 28)

Location: 100 Evolution Lane, Cartersville, GA 30120

Duration: 3-6 Months

The pay rate will be $58 to $77 per hour on W2

(Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM ( with One-hour lunch)

We are seeking a skilled Mission Critical Project Manager – Life Safety & Security Systems (Division 28) to join our client’s team, one of the US’s largest Security companies.

Qualifications:

Position Summary

Responsible for leading mission-critical projects and programs from initiation through closeout, ensuring successful delivery of life safety and security systems (Division 28) across high-priority deployments. This role combines program-level strategy with hands-on project execution, focused on schedule certainty, material readiness, quality assurance, and customer alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of MCT projects including design coordination, material procurement, provisioning, installation, and closeout.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and/or programs with a focus on schedule adherence, cost control, and quality execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and proactively mitigate risks and constraints.
• Ensure full visibility and control of material flow, inventory tracking, and provisioning readiness.
• Drive cross-functional alignment between PMO, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Field Teams.
• Oversee documentation including RFIs, change orders, permits, and closeout packages.
• Identify, track, and manage project constraints and risks, including schedule and contractual impacts.
• Support change order development, scope management, and customer communication.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
• Provide clear and consistent communication to internal stakeholders and customers on project status, risks, and financials.
• Act as a leader and mentor within the MCT, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support program-level strategy including scalability, process improvement, and operational efficiency.

Education/Certification:

• Minimum of High School Diploma/GED
• Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by National, State or Local codes

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in project/program management within security, fire alarm, or construction environments.
• Strong understanding of Division 28 systems including CCTV, access control, and life safety systems.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with material management, procurement workflows, and inventory tracking.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-visibility, mission-critical environments.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms).
