Physician - Gastroenterologist

Job Description

Our client in New York is seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist Physician for a 168-day assignment starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves a schedule of 8a to 5p, primarily M-F covering inpatient consults, clinic, and scope work, with night and weekend call duties. You will be responsible for comprehensive hospital coverage, performing various scopes, and managing a diverse range of gastroenterology cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive hospital coverage, scope work, and manage call duties.
• Cover inpatient consults and perform scope work or clinic duties M-F.
• Manage night and weekend call responsibilities.
• Perform upper and lower GI procedures.
• Conduct colonoscopies and endoscopies.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology required.
• EMR: Meditech EHR.
• Schedule: 8a to 5p.
