Job Title: Social Marketing Coordinator (Onsite- 5 days a week)

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, hands-on Social Media Coordinator to create content across Ground Up's Instagram and TikTok channels. This role owns the full content process end to end: bringing creative content ideas to the table, filming, leading photo shoots, shooting, and editing video and photos, while also managing the content calendar, reviewing and approving partner content, and driving our Influencer & PR initiatives.

The ideal candidate has proven, hands-on experience creating and editing engaging content, leading photo and video shoots, growing Instagram and TikTok platforms, increasing brand visibility, and building influencer and PR relationships. The overall goal of this role is to increase brand awareness and grow our social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Content Creation

• Bring creative content ideas to the table, with a primary focus on Instagram and TikTok, and a secondary focus on LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Film, lead photo shoots, and photograph original content for use across all social platforms.
• Edit video and photo content to a polished, on-brand, publish-ready standard.
• Build, manage, and maintain the content calendar, and publish content directly to Instagram and TikTok.
• Monitor platform growth, engagement, and brand recognition, and use those insights to sharpen future content ideas.

Partner & Licensor Content Approvals

• Review and approve content submitted by external partners to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Manage licensor approvals for social and content initiatives, tracking feedback and revisions.

Influencer & PR Support

• Own the direction of Influencer & PR initiatives, building and maintaining relationships with influencers, creators, and PR contacts.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships that increase brand visibility and support campaign and product launches.
• Coordinate gifting, seeding, and collaboration efforts to support Influencer & PR goals.

Ecommerce & Digital Asset Support

• Upload and manage PDP (product detail page) assets to support ecommerce listings.
• Ensure digital and social assets are accurate, on-brand, and consistent across ecommerce and social channels.

Brand Storytelling & Community Growth

• Bring Ground Up's brand story to life through authentic, engaging content that resonates with our audience.
• Grow Instagram and TikTok followings while attracting an engaged, on-brand audience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and sales teams to keep content aligned with broader brand initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications (Must-Haves)

• Proven content creation experience: filming, leading photo shoots, shooting, photography, and video/photo editing (required).
• Hands-on Influencer & PR experience, including relationship building and outreach.
• Digital/ecommerce experience, including uploading PDP assets.
• Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), plus strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, and Meta.
• Strong brand storytelling ability with an eye for what makes content engaging and shareable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing content calendars and publishing across multiple social channels.
• 1-3 years of experience in social media, content creation, or a related role (fashion or consumer products preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fashion, footwear, or licensed consumer products.
• A track record of growing Instagram and/or TikTok platforms and increasing brand visibility.
• Experience working directly with licensors or external partners on content approvals.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with a strong desire to experiment with new content formats.
