As a Security Officer Access Control in Colorado Springs, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Professional in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will create a welcoming first impression while supporting access control, visitor management, and communication needs. You will remain attentive to activity at the entrance, help address security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Monitor entry activity, reception-area conditions, alarms, cameras, and communications systems; report unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general site information, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and client contacts regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
