Job Title: Paralegal - Wills, Trusts & Estates Join an innovative full-service law firm with expertise across various industries and practice areas. We are hiring a paralegal to support attorneys in estate administration matters for both taxable and non-taxable estates. Work Arrangement: Fully on-site or hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day remote) after training. Location options include Albany, Buffalo, Ithaca, Rochester, Syracuse, New York City, Uniondale, and White Plains. Compensation: Albany: $33.34 - $40.00/hour Buffalo, Ithaca, Rochester, Syracuse: $32.26 - $38.71/hour New York City: $43.96 - $52.20/hour Uniondale and White Plains: $38.47 - $43.96/hour Annual billable hours requirement: 1400 hours (prorated in the first year). Responsibilities: Interact with clients via in-person, phone, email, and video conferencing. Draft, review, and edit probate and estate administration documents. Assist with asset retitling and organize financial records for estate tax returns and audits. Prepare estate tax returns and fiduciary income tax documents for estate and trust settlements. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of estate administration experience. Experience with estate and trust accountings, NY state tax returns, and fiduciary matters.
