What You'll Do
- Assist in patient setup and preparation for interventional radiology procedures
- Operate diagnostic fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring during procedures and report findings to physicians
- Ensure radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
- Transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images using PACS
- Conduct routine maintenance and quality control of radiology equipment
- Adapt communication and care techniques to diverse patient populations
- Maintain detailed procedure logs for accurate billing and documentation
What You Need
- Required:
- ARRT Certification and Louisiana Radiologic Technologist License
- BLS and ACLS certification from AHA
- Minimum 2 years of radiologic sciences experience
- Proficiency with computer applications and PACS systems
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Preferred:
- Experience in interventional radiology settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
