Payroll Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Accountant to lead payroll processing, ensure compliance, and support finance operations. This role plays a key part in delivering accurate, timely payroll while optimizing systems and improving internal processes.


Key Responsibilities:

• Process semi-monthly payroll using ADP Workforce Now
• Reconcile payroll master file and track employee reimbursements (Navan)
• Manage onboarding/offboarding payroll data and respond to employee inquiries
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and assist with audits and 401(k) reporting
• Maintain accurate digital records and coordinate with external providers (e.g., ADP)
• Record payroll-related journal entries and support month-end close activities
• Monitor grant allocations and assist with grant reporting
• Identify process improvements and assist with system optimization (NetSuite, ADP)
• Prepare periodic reconciliations and ad-hoc payroll/finance reports
