DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Biweekly payroll uploadMonthly benefit allocationsQuarterly 941 reconciliationMonthly Accrual entriesMonthly Bank Reconciliation (20+accounts)Maintaining and updating monthly schedules of prepaid expense, prepaid insurance, deferred rent, fixed assets and other schedulesMaintaining Loan Payable accountPreparing journal entries as assignedCompile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.Handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.Monitor funder payments and non-payments.Assist in the annual and individual program auditsRelated duties as assigned.HOURS: Full-time 37.5 hours per weekMonday-Friday; 9am-5:30pmHybrid positionQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in AccountingSolid understanding of accounting processes and proceduresAbility to compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.Proven ability to meet daily and monthly deadlinesProficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced working knowledge of ExcelAbility to work efficiently independently as well as part of a teamNonprofit accounting experience, a plusProficiency with accounting software systems, a plusMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skills**Vaccination preferred but not required.MAKE AN IMPACTAre you looking to make a positive impact on the lives of those in your community?
