Job Description
Registered Nurse - ICU

Schedule

Shifts available: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Weekend work required.

Assignment Details

Contract lengths: 13 weeks for 11/16 start and 8 weeks for 12/7 and 12/14 starts. Must be able to work all holidays. This is a float position that may require assignments in MS, Tele, PCU, overflow, and PACU units when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Active nursing license in the state.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH.
• First-time travelers accepted with experience in a facility of 400 beds or larger.
• Flu vaccine required - no medical or religious declinations.
• Experience with PA line/Swan Ganz preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and update treatment plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.
• Document patient information and care activities accurately.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation includes an EKG exam to be administered on the first day. Must pass to proceed with the contract. No scheduling requests can be accommodated; a maximum of 7 days off is allowed. No requests for time off within the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
