Quality Engineer

Overview As a Quality Engineer at ARC Technologies LLC, a collaboration with Hexcel, you will support advanced material solutions for aerospace and defense. Responsibilities Establish and implement control plans for manufacturing, inspection, and test processes to ensure conformance to specifications and contract requirements. Develop and review quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures in collaboration with design and production teams. Drive quality improvement initiatives focusing on process improvement, scrap reduction, and supplier quality improvement. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to investigate product, process, and system nonconformities, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions. Participate in the internal audit team, conduct audits, assign corrective action tasks, and perform verification/effectiveness reviews. Ensure compliance with corporate quality management system and applicable standards such as ISO 9001 and AS 9100. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 quality management systems. Experience with quality analysis tools and problem‑solving techniques. Knowledge of DMAIC/DMADV continuous improvement methodologies; Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance.
