Facilities Maintenance Technician

HIRING IMMEDIATELY FOR 1ST SHIFT FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN BURLINGTON, NC!PAY: $30/HR. TO START + PAY RAISES!1ST SHIFT: 7 AM - 3:30 PM MONDAY - FRIDAY*MUST HAVE CURRENT OR RECENT EXPERIENCE IN INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES MAINTENANCE*JOB DESCRIPTION:Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systemsTroubleshoot and repair basic mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issuesComplete general building maintenance, including repairs to doors and hardware, lighting systems, plumbing fixtures, HVAC equipment and componentsPerform drywall repairs, painting, and other facility structuresAssist with equipment installations, machine relocations, and facility improvement projectsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawingsMaintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, work orders, and repair documentationCoordinate with outside contractors and service providers as neededSupport workplace safety initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work environmentSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Experience performing facilities maintenance in an industrial plant.Experience in HVAC maintenance or repair.Experience with drywall repair and painting.Ability to diagnose and repair basic mechanical and electrical issuesFamiliarity with facility improvement projects and equipment installations.Strong attention to detail and record-keeping for maintenance logs and work orders.Commitment to safety practices and continuous improvement in a maintenance environment.BENEFITS:Clean and Climate Controlled EnvironmentPay RaisesPaid HolidaysPTO and Vacation TimeProfit Sharing Bonuses401K Retirement Plan with Company Matching - $1 per $1 match up to 3% + an Additional 2% at $0.50 per $1 matchCompany Benefits Package - Includes Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Coverage, Short Term Disability, and CDHP Plan Health Saving AccountEducation Reimbursement ProgramPromote InternallyJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
