• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,970 - $2,290 (Competitive weekly pay for RNs)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry (Med/Surg/Telemetry) experience; telemetry RN and cardiac monitoring experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills in an acute care environment
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary hospital team

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adults on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, cardiology, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Perform patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, and post-discharge care
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the EMR (electronic medical record)
• Escalate changes in patient condition and participate in rapid response teams as required
