Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele) setting
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, telemetry interpretation, and communication skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment

Key Responsibilities (Telemetry Nurse)

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry systems and report changes promptly to the healthcare team
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per provider orders
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and safe transitions of care
