Med Surg Float Pool Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

AM Shift: 07:00 – 19:30, 3 × 12 hr shifts, 36 hrs/week. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Med Surg Float Pool nurse provides comprehensive patient care across multiple medical-surgical units, adapting quickly to varying patient populations and unit workflows. Nurses are expected to function independently, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and uphold all hospital policies and safety standards.

• Provide patient care across inpatient Medical-Surgical units.

• Maintain strong clinical judgment in diverse situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience required.
• BLS and NIHHS certifications required (TNCC and ACLS preferred).
• Strong proficiency in EPIC systems required.
