Location: Remote, based in the U.S., Canada, or Puerto Rico. This is a field-based, travel-intensive role — the successful candidate will work from a home office and travel regularly to customers, distributors, and partners throughout the territory.
Territory: Canada, the United States, Mexico, and South America through Argentina
Travel: Approximately 40–50%, including international travel

Compensation: Base salary plus uncapped commission, commensurate with experience
About the Role
MetriCorr US is expanding its footprint across the Americas and is looking for a Sales Representative to drive growth of our corrosion monitoring technology — including cellular remote monitors, corrosion monitoring instrumentation, and related field devices — across a territory spanning Canada, the United States, and Latin America down through Argentina.
This role requires someone equally comfortable presenting to a pipeline operator in Calgary, a distributor in Rio de Janeiro, or an EPC firm in Buenos Aires. You'll own the full sales cycle across multiple countries and cultures, working closely with regional consultants, distributors, and our Danish parent company (MetriCorr ApS) to bring corrosion monitoring solutions to new markets. In Brazil and other non-Spanish-speaking markets, you'll partner with in-country distributors, agents, and consultants for language- and certification-specific work rather than carrying that load alone.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle — prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating, negotiating, and closing — across assigned territories in Canada, the U.S., and Latin America (including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, and Chile)
- Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations in English and Spanish, tailored to both technical and commercial stakeholders; coordinate with local partners for Portuguese-language engagements in Brazil
- Build and manage relationships with pipeline operators, utilities, EPC firms, and in-country distributors or agents
- Support (in partnership with regional consultants and MetriCorr ApS staff) certification efforts required for market entry, such as ANATEL certification in Brazil
- Develop and maintain a network of distributors and channel partners across the region, including onboarding and authorization of new distributors
- Prepare quotes and proposals accounting for shipping, tariffs, and duties specific to each country corridor (e.g., U.S./Canada, Brazil, Andean region), with support from internal trade-compliance resources
- Coordinate closely with manufacturing, product, and leadership teams in the U.S. and with MetriCorr ApS (Denmark) to align on product fit, pricing, and delivery timelines
- Manage the sales pipeline in CRM tools, providing accurate forecasting and regional reporting
- Represent MetriCorr at regional industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events across the Americas
- Stay current on regional regulatory requirements, competitor activity, and market conditions across assigned countries
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas across the territory
Qualifications
Required
- Must reside in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico, with authorization to work in that country
- 5+ years of experience selling technical, industrial, or B2B products, with a demonstrated track record of closing deals
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and internationally across the Americas (approximately 40–50%)
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Comfort working across time zones and cultures, and adapting sales approach to different regional markets
- Proficiency with CRM software and standard sales productivity tools
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, International Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Preferred
- Working or professional proficiency in Portuguese
- 2+ years of experience selling pipeline monitoring, corrosion monitoring, cathodic protection, or related oil & gas instrumentation
- Existing network of contacts among pipeline operators, utilities, EPCs, or distributors in Latin America and/or Canada
- Experience navigating in-country regulatory or product certification processes (e.g., ANATEL, INMETRO)
- Familiarity with import/export considerations, tariffs, and HS classification as they affect cross-border quoting
- Experience working with or managing third-party distributors and sales agents
