Quality Technician (Richmond)

We are searching for a Quality Technician to join our quality management team in Richmond, VA. This role offers a unique opportunity to become part of our quality management team. As a Quality Technician, you will collaborate with our production team to ensure that our products meet all quality standards including, but not limited to, ISO 9001.
Your tasks
- Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet specified standards and customers’ requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and tests, document any defects or issues found, and correct them.
- Monitor the production process to identify any deviations from quality standards and suggest improvements.
- Provide training to production staff on quality measures and proper equipment usage.
- Support quality audits and compiling reports on quality and process-related issues.
- Time and project management through personal skills and software
- Collaborate with other employees to create the best solution.
- Collaborate with the Production team to make sure the solution is tested and completed correctly.
Your profile
- An associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- Strong time management skills, urgency, and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively, present, and influence credibly at all levels.
- Able to investigate the root cause and suggest workable solutions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with inspection tools, hand tools, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
