SUMMARY

Responsible for directly tutoring individuals by asking and answering questions and demonstrating examples relating to the subject. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Tutor all students in any setting, including college-level academic transfer courses. Ask and answer academic questions, using examples relating to a particular subject. Provide analytic and diagnostic services for students increasing affective work results. Process new students assuring individuals’ learning needs are met. Provide support services required during semester. Evaluate and recommend tutoring materials. May assist in tracking student performance.

EDUCATION

Same credential as required to teach in the subject area (Photocopy of transcript must accompany application).

EXPERIENCE

Three (3) years of relevant work experience in the related academic area of study.
