Portfolio Manager II

The Portfolio Manager II is responsible for the management of a loan portfolio including underwriting and presenting commercial and consumer loans for approval. This position monitors the portfolio to ensure it aligns with the client's financial goals and risk tolerance.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Underwriting and presenting commercial and consumer loans for approval.
• Managing a loan portfolio including lines of credit, term loans and real estate loans.
• Responsible for annual reviews, renewal and increase requests.
• Ensuring timely payment of loans in the portfolio.
• Negotiating terms and conditions with existing borrowers.
• Closing loans renewals/increases in accordance with approved terms and conditions.
• Collaborating with portfolio managers on commercial and consumer loans as needed.
• Working in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Completing required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.
• Performing any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Broad knowledge of fields such as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 5 years related experience and/or training, and 5 years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats.
• Intermediate: Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing Basic: 10-Key, Accounting, Alphanumeric Data Entry
• Normal working conditions as found within an office setting, wherein there is controlled temperature and a low noise level, plus a minimum of distractions.

• College degree in general business, finance, economics or accounting, preferred - Five (5) years lending experience - Five (5) years' experience with banking, investment, or economic analysis - Two (2) years' experience using Microsoft Word and Excel - Must have general computer skills - The ability to communicate using oral and written skills
