Java with github Copilot (banking)

The Role
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Leverage Kafka for real-time messaging and event-driven architecture.
- Collaborate with team members using GitHub, including leveraging GitHub Copilot to enhance coding efficiency and quality.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Integrate microservices with various banking systems and third-party APIs.
- Monitor application performance and optimize for scalability, reliability, and security.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Experience with Spring Boot for developing microservices.
- Working knowledge of Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
- Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI-powered coding tools like GitHub Copilot.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud deployment practices.
- Previous experience in banking or financial services is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and team-oriented mindset.
