Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state
• Experience in school-based settings with children and adolescents
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education collaboration
• Ability to provide both direct therapy and consultative services
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Adaptability and comfort with hybrid service models (in-person & virtual)
• Effective communicator able to work well with educators, families, and fellow specialists

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to a diverse group of students (caseload: 30-50)
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals
• Facilitate virtual therapy sessions using digital tools
• Participate in IEP meetings, student progress reviews, and parent communications
• Promote student engagement and independence through tailored interventions
