Job Details Title: Accounting Clerk Company: Murphy Painters, Inc. Location: Illinois City, Illinois, United States Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $45 - $55 per hour Responsibilities Accurately process and manage accounts payable and receivable. Prepare, send, and follow up on invoices in a timely manner. Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and statements. Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets with accuracy. Support the payroll process by verifying timekeeping information. Handle general administrative tasks and provide support to the finance team as required. Qualifications Proven experience working as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar financial role. A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Familiarity with accounting software is highly desirable. Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
