Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Telemetry background required (read tele).

Required Credentials: - Ascension Specialty Exam required prior to start; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension EKG Exam required; passing score of at least 80%, with only 2 attempts allowed. - Epic test-out required. - Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. - Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Special Requests: - Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. - Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. - In order to receive travel rate, the clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week for 12-hour schedules. - Every other weekend. - Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: - May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

5 days maximum time off
