Registered Nurse - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location Maryland Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to float to both NICU and Pediatrics as needed. The position entails the management of complex patient conditions, including but not limited to respiratory distress, DKA, seizures, and pain management. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a critical care setting. Monitor and manage patients requiring moderate sedation and various drips. Administer treatments and medications as prescribed. Manage essential procedures such as arterial lines and central venous pressure monitoring. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU or similar setting. Valid RN license in Maryland or compact state. Current BLS and PALS certifications. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
