Position Overview

We are seeking an empathetic and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our committed imaging team, renowned for its commitment to exceptional patient care. Core Responsibilities

• Perform a diverse array of ultrasound examinations, which include but are not limited to, abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, ensuring all steps are explained with empathy and clarity
• Close collaboration with radiologists and referring providers to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment while promptly notifying the team of any technical issues
• Accurate documentation of procedures, alongside maintaining patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and the best industry practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
