Exciting opportunities await for dedicated and experienced School Psychologists eager to make a significant difference in the lives of students. This full-time, contract-based position offers the chance to provide essential assessment, intervention, and consultation services throughout the academic year, working closely with school teams across multiple sites.
Responsibilities include administering comprehensive assessments, crafting detailed evaluation reports, and participating in IEP meetings to support student success. Serving a diverse student population, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an inclusive and supportive school environment.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A valid Florida Department of Health Psychology license (active and in good standing)
- Demonstrated expertise in administering a wide variety of psychological and educational assessments
- School-based experience preferred, including direct involvement in special education services
- Strong report-writing skills and the ability to translate assessment data into actionable recommendations
- Proven capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload and adapt to assignments across multiple campuses
Primary duties comprise:
- Conducting student assessments using standardized tools to gather psychoeducational data
- Generating legally defensible, comprehensive reports for educational planning
- Attending and meaningfully contributing to IEP meetings
- Consulting with teachers, staff, and administrators on strategies for intervention and support
- Supporting crisis response and providing consultation as needed
