Bindery Operator
Jeffersonville, IN $16.00 per hour Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm 1st and 2nd Shift Available
Job Overview: The Job Center is hiring Bindery Operators for a production facility in Jeffersonville, IN. This role supports bindery and finishing operations within a printing environment. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.
Pay: $16.00 per hour Weekly pay

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret job orders to determine required bindery operations and specifications
- Set up and operate entry-level bindery equipment including drill punch, folder, collators, off-line numbering machines, paper cutter, padding press, and poly wrapper
- Perform continuous quality checks throughout production operations
- Review quality checklists from previous departments prior to running orders
- Insert completed products into boxes for shipment
- Use various methods and equipment for counting, spooning, padding, and related tasks
- Perform kitting or fulfillment functions by assembling materials according to customer specifications
- Perform basic shipping and receiving duties
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Stand for extended periods during shift
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, printing, or bindery experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Ability to stand and lift throughout shift
Schedule:
- 1st Shift
- 2nd Shift
- Overtime may be required
