ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position is essential to providing critical care and support to patients in the intensive care unit.Shift DetailsSchedule: 3x12 hour shiftsShift Timing: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMHoliday Rotation: RequiredWeekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekendPatient Care and ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in the ICU setting.Adhere to established protocols and procedures to ensure high standards of patient safety and care quality.Maintaining appropriate patient-nurse ratios (1:4).Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff as needed.QualificationsRequired Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU and/or Stepdown nursing.License Requirements: SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS.Preferred Certification: NIHSS.Special Requirements: Must possess ICU and/or Stepdown nursing experience.Additional InformationThis position does not require on-call duties.Travelers may need to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are not accepted.Approval for block scheduling can be requested but is not guaranteed.The facility reserves the right to call off one shift per two weeks.Hospital HighlightsFacility Type: Critical care unit with 12 staffed beds.Scrub Color: Royal blue.Charting System: Epic.Parking: Free parking available on-site.Please note that during hurricane season (June to November), all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.
