IT Technical Writer

Technical Documentation ManagerThis candidate will need to be highly technically and have a very good use of technical jargon and the ability to communicate with other technically inclined people. This candidate will be documenting business and IT processes and systems to end users. They will also participate in group discussions and should be able to participate and understand these discussions. This worker needs to be able to be self-managed and able to work with a team when necessary. These candidates will not be creating documents from scratch they will be writing documentation to describe the documents.Produce system documentation from the content provided by subject-matter experts (SMEs). Assist SMEs in creating quality documentation by providing guidance on format. Supports and/or contributes to the design, development, and delivery of end user training and/or procedures. Revise documents to support the resolution of incidents (Trouble Tickets) within committed service levels. Revise documents in support of the execution of change requests in compliance with local change control procedures. Operate with a quality mindset (capable, in control, compliant, and continuously improving).This resource must have the ability to quickly comprehend complex business processes and IT terminology in order to participate in technical discussions and walk away with a clear understanding of what was discussed and be able to document that understanding. The individual must have strong communication and writing skills. Prior Lilly experience documenting business and IT processes and systems.
