Overview:

Field Service Technician

We are looking for highly self-motivated, enthusiastic Industrial Service Technicians for its location in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Positions available from entry level to Master Technicians.

We are a growing sales and service company specializing in Compressed Air Product Solutions for industrial applications throughout Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio. Started in 1945, Wayne-Vaughn distributes and services for many of the top manufacturers in compressed air products. We pride ourselves in hiring representatives that will maintain professional, courteous, honest and helpful relationships with all existing and potential customers. Excellent attendance, punctuality and attitude are essential to a Service Technician in this field. Industrial compressed air solutions is a fast, changing, and exciting market to work in.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair various types of air compressors and compressed air related equipment.

• In house work (10%) and field work (90%). Very little overnight travel required.

• Factory and in-house training will be provided to develop and maintain proficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced Maintenance Technician

• Electronics and computer knowledge is beneficial-Electrical experience including magnetic starters and knowledge of wiring diagram reading

• Refrigerating certification is beneficial.

• Enjoy traveling and working with people and customers as well as maintaining a clean appearance while on the job.

• Independent self-starter.

• Must have own tools.

• Excellent driving record required as there will be use of company vehicles.
