EHS Manager

A leading consumer goods manufacturing company is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Manager to support a fast-paced production facility in the Elkhart, IN area. This individual will be responsible for driving environmental, health, safety, and sustainability performance while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards. The position offers the opportunity to lead site-wide EHS initiatives, influence safety culture, and partner closely with operations and leadership teams. The Role Lead all site environmental, health, safety, security, and sustainability programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other applicable regulations. Partner with site leadership to establish EHS objectives, track key performance indicators, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage EHS training programs, safety committees, emergency response planning, incident investigations, and corrective action processes. Oversee environmental compliance activities including permitting, waste management, regulatory reporting, contractor compliance, and government agency interactions. The Candidate Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety, Technology, or a related discipline. 4+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment, including regulatory compliance and program management responsibilities. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, hazardous waste management, environmental permitting, incident investigations, and compliance reporting. Proven ability to influence employees and leadership teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive measurable EHS improvements. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation preferred, along with strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
