Uses an integrated approach toward patient outcomes.Additional Requirements:Working Hours: Full-Time DaysMinimum Education: Completion of Surgical First Assistant program through an accredited organization; or medical school graduate with surgical training; or completion of a surgical assistant training program during military service in the United States. Preferred: AAS in Surgical Assisting or Surgical TechnologistYears of Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical First Assistant; or 2 years of Surgical Technologist experienceCertification: Basic Life Support-American Heart AssociationLicense: Must meet licensure criteria and be licensed as Surgical Assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia at time of hire.
