Job Title

Emergency Room (ER) - Registered Nurse - Travel

Location

Port Charlotte, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shifts | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a non-trauma Emergency Room setting with high-acuity patient populations
• Manage patient holds with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Assess, monitor, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions in a fast-paced ER environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe and effective emergency care
• Maintain compliance with all facility protocols, including required scrub color (Navy Blue)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ventilator experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing high-acuity patients in an emergency care setting
