Location: Baton Rouge, LA - 100% in office


Compensation: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of approximately 1,200-1,500 invoices monthly, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, purchase order matching, and compliance with company policies.
• Process vendor payments and maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and research and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close activities and accounts payable reporting.
• Respond to vendor and internal team inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the accounting team.

Requirements:

• Experience with NetSuite is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Excel PivotTables and VLOOKUPs is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-service-oriented approach.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow established procedures.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
