Outpatient Neurologist

Vassar Brothers Medical Center, part of Nuvance Health, is seeking full-time Neurologists to join its growing Neurosciences Program in Poughkeepsie, NY. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a comprehensive neurosciences program within a large hospital system. Physicians passionate about supervising, educating, mentoring, and evaluating residents and medical students will find ample opportunities due to a recently accredited ACGME residency program.

- Outpatient practice located in Poughkeepsie, NY
- Part of a comprehensive neurosciences program spanning a 7-hospital system
- Neurosciences program includes Neurosurgery, Interventional Neuroradiology, and rehabilitation
- Recently received full accreditation for an ACGME approved residency program
Responsibilities
- Supervising residents and medical students
- Educating residents and medical students
- Mentoring residents and medical students
- Evaluating residents and medical students
Compensation
- Highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives
- Allowances for CMEs and dues expenses
- Relocation stipend
Benefits
- Eligible employees may qualify for forgiveness of certain federal student loans under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program

- Dedicated and well-trained physician
- Board certified/eligible neurologist
- Subspecialty training preferred in epilepsy, movement disorders and/or neuromuscular disorders
- New or recent graduates are welcome to apply
