NY Mets Baseball & Softball Camps is now hiring for a seasonal Summer Camp Site Director for our youth baseball and softball camps hosted throughout the New York Metropolitan Tristate Area. NY Mets Camps is looking for a Summer Camp Site Director who is energetic, positive, and who loves to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions – all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership, direction, and enthusiasm to ensure campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability. Site Director Responsibilities Site Directors are directly responsible for managing and motivating a team of 15+ staff members while executing NY Mets Camps Operations Standards during our camp weeks. Your role is to ensure a safe camp environment for the staff, campers, and parents, and encourage staff to bring a positive and enthusiastic mindset to each day of camp. It is important to serve as an energetic and outgoing leader during camp-wide meetings to instill culture and expectations for campers and coaches, and further be responsible for communicating with parents and company headquarters regarding issues that may arise at camp.
