Type: Travel Registered Nurse Specialty: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Location: Montour Falls, NY 14865 Start Date: 09/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8-hour evenings, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370-$2,500 Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday Floating: May float to other units as staffing permits Assignment Focus: Direct patient care and clinical leadership support in a skilled nursing facility Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York At least 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred Long-term care, skilled nursing, sub-acute, or geriatric nursing experience strongly preferred Strong time management, critical thinking, delegation, and prioritization skills Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Comfortable documenting thoroughly and accurately in an electronic medical record (EMR) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or sit for extended periods as needed Must be able to work every other weekend and every other holiday Willingness to support staffing needs, including possible float assignments Responsibilities Provide direct resident care, including assessment, monitoring, recording, and reporting changes in condition Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate high-quality, resident-centered care Support communication between residents, families, providers, and clinical staff Use sound clinical judgment to prioritize care and delegate tasks appropriately Maintain professional standards and practice within RN scope of practice Promote evidence-based practice and best practices in patient care Document care accurately and thoroughly in the EMR Participate in unit councils and staff meetings as needed Assist with staffing needs, which may include supporting an LPN med cart role when required and permitted Why Apply for This Travel Nursing Job?
