Stamford, Connecticut | Full-time | Onsite | $160k - $230k base

What You’ll Do

\n
• Maintain and improve full-stack applications supporting investment research and risk management
\n
• Build new internal tools and workflows from scratch
\n
• Develop modern web applications using TypeScript, React and Next.js
\n
• Use Python for scripting, automation and data-related workflows
\n
• Design and query relational databases using production-quality SQL
\n
• Build AI-enabled automations using platforms such as OpenAI and Anthropic
\n
• Take responsibility across design, development, deployment and production support
\n

What You’ll Bring

\n
• 2–7 years’ professional full-stack software development experience
\n
• Strong TypeScript and React experience, ideally including Next.js
\n
• Practical experience reading and writing Python for scripting or automation
\n
• Strong relational database and SQL skills
\n
• Experience owning production software across both frontend and backend development
\n
• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science with a GPA above 3.0
\n
• Willingness to work onsite in Stamford five days per week
\n

Nice to Have

\n
• Experience with tRPC, Prisma or a comparable modern TypeScript stack
\n
• Exposure to OpenAI, Anthropic or other LLM APIs
\n
• Experience building agentic workflows or AI-enabled automation
\n
• AWS, Bash, CI/CD or Airflow experience
\n
• A background or demonstrated interest in finance, fintech, investment research or quantitative systems
\n

Our client is a high-performing investment firm combining hedge fund and private equity strategies across equities, credit and private investments.

Technology plays a central role in how the firm conducts investment research and manages risk. They are now expanding their internal engineering capability and looking for a full-stack engineer who wants meaningful ownership in a small, highly capable environment.
