We are looking to hire a talented and committed Employee Relations Manager to play a critical role in the development of the employee relations agenda in Poland. This role can be located at any one of our sites in Poland for the right candidate. We are seeking a progressive, hands‑on, customer‑obsessed individual who will help to develop our employee relations agenda of creating a positive employee relations climate that supports employee safety, capability, engagement and a high‑performance customer obsessed culture. The ER Manager will report to the Senior Employee Relations Manager and will require a level of geographical flexibility within Poland. Responsibilities Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels Develop an understanding of employee engagement and support the delivery of initiatives designed to achieve engagement targets aligned to Amazon’s ER philosophy Reactively and proactively support and advise managers and HR teams on employee relations issues Ensure compliance with Poland and EU legislation in partnership with our Legal Department Define and develop existing arrangements for collective consultation and communication as required for the ongoing evolution of the business, in compliance with Poland labor laws and Amazon ER policies Provide training on ER matters for managers and HR teams Conduct reviews of employment policies to ensure they are aligned to Amazon’s objectives and compliant with employment law Participate in national and international projects The minimum base pay for this position is PLN 8,983.33 gross monthly. As a total compensation company, Amazon’s package may include further pay components such as a sign‑on payment and eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in the USA. Company discretionary, supplementary benefits apply and may include pension plans, health insurance, life and disability insurance, business travel insurance, a MultiSport card, employee discount codes and programs (EDC/Extras), commuter benefits where applicable, and an Employee Assistance Program (private and confidential counselling and referral service to support health and well‑being). Basic Qualifications Experience in a HR Generalist or equivalent role Fluent in both written and spoken English and Polish (CEFR C2) Proven track record of accomplishments in a fast‑paced similar environment to Amazon Operations, i.e., Logistics Experience in the analysis, design and implementation of people programs, policies and practices to develop and sustain positive employee relations and engagement Preferred Qualifications Relevant postgraduate education in human resources or employee relations Extensive experience in employee relations, labor relations, or labor/employment law with an emphasis on labor and employee relations work Extensive experience in setting up effective provisions for collective communication and consultation in a recently unionized environment Strong negotiation and influencing skills Demonstrated problem‑solving and analytical capability Demonstrated ability to motivate others and influence work behaviors Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and make best use of limited resources Experience with complex problem solving and analysis using analytical methods Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team/business, especially in a multicultural and multi‑location environment Proven presentation and communication skills Good understanding of MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel) and HR information systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) would be advantageous Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
