Senior Full Stack Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for developing complex requirements, enhancing, modifying, and maintaining applications within the Financial Crimes technology space. The developer will design, code, test, debug, and document programs, working closely with business partners to define system application requirements and contributing to the full development lifecycle of delivered capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs and support activities for application maintenance
• Work closely with business partners in defining requirements for system applications
• Contribute to story refinement, define requirements, and estimate work necessary for delivery
• Perform proof of concepts as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
• Set up and automate the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline
• Handle technical aspects of the application, including Change Management, Maintenance, and Platform Upgrades
• Promote and apply best practices and standards at a project and program level
• Analyze present-state, develop alternative future-state approaches, and facilitate implementation
• Follow Agile practices while ensuring all Enterprise Change Standards are met

Requirements:

• Typically requires 10+ years of applicable experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or any quantitative discipline
• Expertise in Web Application development using ReactJS and Java Spring
• Strong programming skills in building multi-tier applications using Spring Boot 5.x
• Strong experience in RESTful Web services and Spring core (Dependency Injection, Annotations, Configurations)
• Knowledge and experience in Java Spring JPA, Hibernate, Spring JDBC, and Node.js
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, and Redux
• Experience with Web Containers such as Tomcat 9.0+ and JBoss
• Database experience with Oracle 19c
• Strong SQL knowledge, data analysis skills, and experience in tuning processes and SQL
• Experience with Maven 3.0 and Unix shell scripting
• Familiarity and experience with Autosys or other scheduling tools
• Strong working experience in Agile methodology
• Experience with SDLC, CI/CD, and change management tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible)

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
