And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.As a Reliability Engineer, you will:• Work within the Special Disciplines team and may lead a small Reliability team or project• Develop, coordinate and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (doe) constructs.• Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability• Compile and evaluate performance reports and process control statistics; investigate and analyze relevant variables potentially affecting product and processes• Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards• Evaluate preliminary plans and develop reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer and governmental agency reliability objectives• Develop mathematical models to identify units, batches or processes posing excessive failure risks• Propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability• Determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing, and specifies minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data You can learn more about Denver, CO by visiting this link. Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)d. Critical Items Liste. Availabilityf. Maintainability Analysis and Predictionsg. Fault Tree Analysish. Probability Risk Assessment (PRA)i. Familiarity with Reliability HDBKS and Standards (i.e.; MIL-HDBK-217, Milt-STD-1629, MIL-STD-1543, MIL-HDBK-338, MIL-HDBK-472)j. Application of probability and statistics to support decisions regarding sample size, burn-in life testing and failure analysis investigationsk. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday offPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
